THE EAGLE GALLERY
The Bald Eagle is a majestic raptor that I find very interesting and exciting to photograph. To observe their hunting, feeding and social behaviors is simply fascinating to watch. From the young “eaglets” to the first, second and third year juveniles, to the sub-adults and finally to the mature adults. To observe them soaring, gliding and diving for fish with talons out. To observe them banking a turn, eating on the wing and being chased after a fresh fish catch by others. To observe their amazing aerial acrobatics, mid air playing and fighting and majestic soaring is really something special.
